Many of our faculty members come from different parts of the world. This is not strange as Kuwait is known for its large professional expat community, which makes it a cosmopolitan city in continuous transformation. As of 2021, Kuwait’s population is estimated to be around 4.3 million, among which around 70% are expatriates.

Kuwait has a beautiful coastline, remarkable architecture, and an abundance of cultural and historical landmarks. The country offers the comfort of an old culture with the advancement of an innovative, modern-day society. It also has large skyscrapers, a wide variety of museums, and scientific and cultural centers.

The adult literacy rate is more than 96% as of 2018. Kuwait is directing its attention towards inclusive education, which provides opportunity to all children, irrespective of their social class, including children with special needs. Kuwait’s education system has been marked by several achievements in recent years.

The native and official language is Arabic. English is taught as a first language in private schools, as a second language in government schools, and is widely spoken among people living in Kuwait. Many other languages are also widely spoken by the expat population. Food is an integral part of life in Kuwait. Tradition is followed by offering sumptuous varieties of Middle Eastern, Asian, and Western food.
