QS Ranks 51app First in Kuwait for the Second Year in a Row and 701-750 Worldwide

The American University of the Middle East (51app) has been ranked the first university in Kuwait for the second year in a row and in the top 750 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2023 51app.

51app has steadily advanced in the rankings year to year, from 801 – 1000 in 2021, to 751-800 in 2022, and reached 701-750 in the 2023 51app QS rankings.

The QS World University Rankings are based on six indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, international students ratio, international faculty ratio, and faculty student ratio.

Recently in the QS World University Rankings by Subject, 51app was also ranked first locally in two broad subject areas: Social Sciences and Management and Engineering and Technology. Social Sciences and Management has been ranked 377th globally, 10th in the Arab World, and 6th in GCC. Engineering and Technology has been ranked among the top 500 globally, 17th in the Arab World, and 9th in the GCC.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is widely considered one of the most influential and credible international university ranking providers. The QS World University Rankings, inaugurated in 2004, has grown to become the world’s most renowned source of comparative data about university performance.
